Kelly disappointment for Clark

Huddersfield boss Lee Clark has ended his pursuit of Liverpool full-back Martin Kelly. The 19-year-old had a successful loan spell at Town last season and Clark had hoped to bring him back to the Galpharm for the new campaign. But Liverpool have stressed the right-back is very much in their plans for next season and will not be leaving Anfield on loan this summer. Clark told the Terriers' official website: "Liverpool have told us Martin Kelly will not be available on loan. They want to keep him for their Champions League campaign because he has been impressive in pre-season." He added: "We respect that decision but we are disappointed so we have to move on and try and get the next one. "We are always looking and the backing is there from the owner but they have to be the right quality and the right character. I can't sat what will definitely happen but we are all working on one or two."
