Liverpool winger Jermaine Pennant has welcomed reports that Spurs striker Robbie Keane could be in line for a move to Anfield.
The Reds are believed to be keen to lure the Republic of Ireland striker to Merseyside in a deal that could cost them as much as £15million.
Liverpool have already made space in their squad for a new striker with the £11million sale of Peter Crouch to Portsmouth and Pennant is relishing the prospect of Keane linking up with Fernando Torres at Anfield next season.
"Robbie is a great player. He's sharp around the box and is a great finisher," said the former Arsenal youngster.
"With Torres up front as well, it will be a great partnership. They could be as good as anything in the Premier League."
Meanwhile, Pennant has dismissed reports linking him with a move to Blackburn Rovers.
The 25-year-old wideman saw his starting opportunities limited last season but is happy to remain on Merseyside.
"I'm not thinking about leaving at all," he claimed.
