Badge of honour: Mourinho faces the media[LNB]Jose Mourinho admitted he needed three or four players to build Real Madrid in his image after being officially unveiled at the Bernabeu.[LNB]However, after days of talking up the qualities of Steven Gerrard, Frank Lampard and Ashley Cole, the former Chelsea boss suddenly became coy about who was on his shopping list.[LNB]'I don't like to talk about players because their prices will go up if I do,' said Mourinho. 'The club is happy with the roster of last season and so am I. We don't need major changes.[LNB]'We need three or four players for the coach to have more possibilities to get closer to my ideal of a team.[LNB]'But I don't think it's going to be a summer with a lot of changes. I think it will be a more calm summer with all the focus on the World Cup.'[LNB]Improving central midfield seems to be a priority and Gerrard has been pinpointed as the most achievable signing. [LNB]It would be difficult to prise Lampard from Chelsea just two years after the England midfielder snubbed Mourinho's Inter Milan and signed a five-year contract at Stamford Bridge. It is expected to be the 31-year-old's last big deal.[LNB] Real target: Mourinho would love to take Steven Gerrard to the Bernabeu [LNB]Gerrard, however, has question marks over his future at Liverpool and represents a player who twice got away from Mourinho when the Portuguese was in charge of Chelsea.[LNB]The 47-year-old sealed his new job with Real after agreeing a release settlement with Inter Milan, who he led to the Italian League, Cup and Champions League honours last season.[LNB]The trophy haul was job done and Mourinho admitted the appeal of Spain was impossible to resist.[LNB] Enlarge The world is watching: Press at the unveiling of Jose Mourinho[LNB]'My attraction to Real Madrid is due to its history, its frustrations in recent years and its expectations to win,' he said.[LNB]'It's a unique club and I believe that not to coach Real leaves a void in a coach's career. Luckily, I've had a beautiful career and it makes me proud to have come here.'[LNB]And underlining his pragmatic approach, Mourinho indicated he would put glory ahead of aesthetics, saying: 'The beauty is not so much to train or play at Real, but to win at Real Madrid.[LNB]Winner: Ronaldo impressed in his first season with Real Madrid[LNB]'I think four years of contract is enough to win, to build a strong team for the present and the future.[LNB]'If we work as a group, it's not difficult to get results. I want this group to have an identity, to win everything. The strength of my team is always the team and not the individuals.[LNB]'Cristiano Ronaldo is an incredible player not only for Real but for the whole of football. Cristiano is a winner and it's not difficult to persuade him of this.'[LNB] Jose Mourinho prepares Real raid for Steven Gerrard, Frank Lampard and Ashley Cole Jose ready to raid Chelsea for Ashley and Lampard - with Kaka offered as baitReal's Special delivery: Jose's magic tested when he handles a team of egosCHELSEA FC
