Jordan Henderson not overawed by challenge at Liverpool

Jordan Henderson believes he has what it takes to make it at Liverpool, despite the amount of pressure heaped on him following his ?16million switch from Sunderland. [LNB] New challenge: Henderson is relishing the battle to establish himself at Liverpool[LNB]Henderson moved to Anfield earlier this summer, followed by Stewart Downing from Aston Villa and Charlie Adam from Blackpool to fight for a place in the Red's midfield which is already blessed with talents like Steven Gerrard, Lucas and Raul Meireles.  [LNB]But the 21-year-old is not daunted by the challenge and believes Liverpool is the club where he will mature into a major talent. [LNB]Henderson said: 'Liverpool are a massive club and I'm grateful to be part of it. Itprobably hasn't sunk in properly yet, but I'll keep working hard, keep doing the things I was doing at Sunderland and hopefully I can improve.[LNB]'There are big expectations and demands but that comes with football. You're going to get that wherever you go and it's about how you deal with it.[LNB]'I'mlooking forward to the challenge. I'll just keep working as hard as I possibly can and hopefully I can put some good performances in for Liverpool.'[LNB]The EnglandUnder 21 international was one of Sunderland's top players last term and picked up their Young Player of the Year award.[LNB]But he is now focused on the challenge at Liverpool, and playing under a manager he greatly admires - Kenny Dalglish.[LNB]He said: 'Everyone knows what he is like, he is a brilliant manager and just as brilliant as a person.
