Join the 'Team of Carraghers'
Join the 'Team of Carraghers' and run the Liverpool Marathon for the 23 Foundation on Sunday 9th October 2011! The 23 Foundation, set up by the Liverpool defender, seeks to encourage the youth of Merseyside to make a difference in society by giving them the opportunity to achieve their dreams through football and sport. The 23 Foundation is one of the official charities benefitting from this year's Liverpool Marathon and they are looking for runners to join the 'Team of Carraghers', in running exclusively for the people of Merseyside, completing the course in the knowledge that your support is directly helping the community. Joining the team will get you immediate entry into the event and in return you just need to pledge to raise a minimum of £500, but the foundation have ideas to help you achieve this.
