Liverpool are poised to welcome back defender Glen Johnsonfollowing a two-month injury absence.
The England international has been sidelined with knee ligament damage since the 1-0 Premier League victory over Aston Villa on December 29.
Johnson's ten-game absence has led to Jamie Carragher spending time as a makeshift right-back. However, the £17million summer signing could be available for Saturday's visit of Blackburn Rovers to Anfield.
The Reds were boosted by the returns from injury of Yossi Benayoun and Fernando Torres for Sunday's goalless draw with Manchester City.
"I think we have enough quality. Yossi Benayoun is coming back, Fernando Torres is coming back, hopefully Glen Johnson will come back in the next week," manager Rafael Benitez told the club's official website.
"So we are now bringing players back and the competition will be better for us and hopefully we can improve."
