Johnson injury not serious
Glen Johnson's injury is not serious and the defender could be available to face Sunderland. Johnson was subsituted after only seven minutes in Saturday's 2-0 friendly win over Valencia with a thigh problem. However, although the injury has ruled Johnson out of the England squad for Wednesday's friendly with Holland, Liverpool are hopeful that the knock isn't too serious and the full-back could feature in the Premiership opener.
