John Arne Riise: Return to Liverpool? I'd rather stay at fourth-bottom Roma

John Arne Riise has angrily shot down claims that he wants to return to Liverpool. A Sunday newspaper claimed he the Norway wide man had issued a come and get me plea to his struggling former club, but it seems Riise has no intention of hopping from one crisis club to another. The 29-year-old left Anfield for Italy 17 months ago and has featured in all but one of Roma's Serie A matches this season, yet the News of the World claimed he was unsettled and had failed to establish himself as a regular at the Olympic Stadium. 'I never said I wanted to return to Liverpool and I never made those statements,' said Riise. 'I am settled here in Rome and I want to stay.'
