John W Henry delights in improving Liverpool with rare public out-pouring of praise

John W Henry has taken to Facebook to heap praise on the resurgent Liverpool side who have come on in leaps and bounds since he bought the club last year.[LNB]The rarely-heard American has witnessed a sharp upturn in fortunes for the Anfield club, who at one stage were in danger of being dragged into a relegation scrap. [LNB]However the decision to end Roy Hodgson's unpopular, and very short, reign in favour of appointing club legend Kenny Dalglish has worked wonders. [LNB] Making a point: John W Henry took to Facebook to praise his improving Liverpool side[LNB]Dalglish took the reigns the day before Liverpool's cup clash with Manchester United on January 9, and despite losing at Old Trafford and subsequently against Blackpool, the Reds have strung together a seven-game unbeaten run. [LNB]High as a Kuyt: Liverpool have enjoyed a resurgence in form since January[LNB]Liverpool's impressive run of form has included six clean sheets, a fact particularly pleasing for the owner. [LNB]Speaking via his fan page on the social media site Facebook, Henry said: 'Over the last 7 matches, I believe, only 1 goal (and that may have been offside) has been conceded. Terrific effort on defense [sic] with increasing aggressiveness. [LNB]'We all have to be extremely happy with the progress, work-rate, determination and coaching staff. A total team effort.
