John Henry: Results 'unacceptable' but Liverpool FC fans must be patient

I promise we're going to work as hard as we can. I think for the last two-and-a-half months we haven't thought about much else, day and night, other than what we can do to improve this club.[LNB]'It's not a quick solution. Sometimes the quickest solutions aren't always the best so you're going to have to be patient with us, but we're going to do everything we can to restore the lustre of your club and meet your expectations.'[LNB]Chairman Tom Werner added: 'I'm extremely optimistic. As one of our callers said this is one of the greatest clubs in all of sport and it's a privilege to be involved with it. I have assured supporters that we are working on their behalf to bring back those trophies.'
