Joe Cole keen to kick on after late Liverpool heroics against Bolton

Life has been so full of nasty surprises for Joe Cole since he joined Liverpool that it almost comes as a shock to see him make headlines again for all the right reasons. [LNB]There has been a red card, a missed penalty, injuries and - more worryingly - a loss of form since he left Chelsea for Anfield in the summer, so it would have been par for the course had Cole turned around to see his deciding goal in the 2-1 win over Bolton ruled out by a linesman's flag.[LNB]'I couldn't really miss,' said the substitute after tapping in on the goal-line. 'I was stood right by the goal and just got my studs on it, so I was just lucky to be in the right place. It was lovely to nick the winner but I've got to play regularly.' I just need to get back in the side.'
