The 28-year-old Liverpool player was driving his Audi A4 on a dual carriageway in Surrey when a police officer spotted him breaking the 70mph limit. [LNB]Dean George, representing Cole, claimed in court that the speed gun had not been used correctly, producing an inaccurate reading. [LNB]But in a rare defeat for Mr Freeman's firm, District Judge Clive Wiles found the case against Cole to be proved. [LNB]He warned the footballer, who was not in court, that he faces disqualification after it was revealed he already had six points on his licence. [LNB]The speeding conviction caps a bad week for the millionaire sportsman, who was sent off during his debut for Liverpool against Arsenal on Sunday. [LNB]Mr Freeman's legal firm, Freeman & Co, has successfully won cases for a string of celebrity clients including TV presenter Jeremy Clarkson, cricketer Andrew Flintoff, and footballers David Beckham and Wayne Rooney.
