Jamie Carragher can help England win World Cup, says Liverpool boss Rafa Benitez

Back in the frame? Jamie Carragher could pull on the England shirt again at this summer's World Cup Rafa Benitez insists Liverpool defender Jamie Carragher can still do a job for England and can help them lift the World Cup this summer. England boss Fabio Capello wants to name Carragher in his provisional 30-man squad on Tuesday if he agrees to come out of international retirement. The Italian sees the 32-year-old as back-up in South Africa as England continue to struggle with form and injuries. Benitez believes Carragher is the ideal alternative as he can play at centre-half and also as a full-back. The Liverpool manager said: 'Carra is always fit and I think he will be a very good option for England.'They have centre-backs but they have had some problems. Carra can also play in two different positions. He can help England. 'I think he'll be in the squad and I say congratulations because I think it will be good for him.'  Jamie Redknapp's weekend watch: World Cup-bound Jamie Carragher will be the boss one day Jamie Carragher can't be Ledley King so why is he back for more of the same?
