Jamie Carragher 300[LNB]JAMIE CARRAGHER has praised the spirit Liverpool have shown in breathing new life into their bid for Champions League qualification.[LNB]Wednesday night's hard-fought 2-0 victory over Tottenham helped Rafael Benitez's depleted side move to within a point of the top four.[LNB]Stand-in skipper Carragher led by example at Anfield with an inspirational performance and now the centre-back is targeting a repeat display away to Wolverhampton Wanderers next Tuesday night.[LNB]'It was built up as a big game and it was a massive win for us,' he said.[LNB]'We've taken a lot of criticism but it was important to show that we're still together and fighting for the club.[LNB]'We realised we had to come together and show who we are and what we're about. Hopefully the win will give everyone a bit of confidence.[LNB]'We've had a few great results this season but this time we have to build on it. I'm sick of saying things like 'turning the corner'. We've just got to focus on Wolves and then think about the next one.'[LNB]Liverpool find themselves in a four-way battle for fourth place with Tottenham, Manchester City and Aston Villa.[LNB]The four clubs are separated by just two points and Carragher believes there will be plenty of twists and turns between now and May.[LNB]'You never know what's going to happen and how the other teams are going to react,' he added.[LNB]'The Europa League may play a part, as some of the other sides are not in Europe. That may come in to it as well.[LNB]'It's totally different to last season. Last year we were going for the title and the teams we were up against were winning every week. We had to win every game.
