Jamie Carragher has no intention of hanging up his boots as the Liverpool defender vowed to carry on at the top for at least another two years. [LNB]Carragher turned 33 last month and is in his 15th season at Anfield with 650 games for the Reds under his belt. [LNB]The vice captain's current deal runs out in 2013 and he is studying for his coaching badges but Carragher admits a life in the dugout may have to be put on hold. [LNB] Still going strong: Liverpool is the only club Carragher (right) has played for - and he is not ready to walk away[LNB]He said: 'I want to play for Liverpool for as long as I can. I picked up some of the papers after the Chelsea game and each one said "veteran Carragher." [LNB]'It made me think to myself, "God, I mustn't have too long left." I know that at a minimum, I have two-and-a-half years, and that time will fly.' [LNB]Carragher is back to his best after a spell on the sidelines with a shoulder injury and admits living and breathing Liverpool is much healthier now that Kenny Dalglish is manager following Roy Hodgson's short reign. [LNB]He added: 'Me and Stevie (Gerrard) are so emotionally involved that it's not a great thing. You probably get too involved and it affects your whole life. [LNB]New recruit: Liverpool striker Carroll[LNB]'The last 18 months have been really tough - coming home when we've not been doing too well. The supporters, your friends and family it's taken its toll on everyone. [LNB]'It's just great now that it's sorted and that pressure has lessened now we look as if we're having a few results. [LNB]'People have started talking about the top four and I'm saying, "Yes, I'd love to be there." [LNB]'But I'm just happy that we're winning games and that I can come home and have a smile on my face at the end of a match instead of worrying about the league table.' [LNB]Liverpool are unbeaten in their last six Premier League games and Carragher is looking forward to more exciting times ahead when ?35million striker Andy Carroll is in the team. [LNB]The deadline-day signing from Newcastle is recovering from a thigh injury and could make his debut against Manchester United early next month. [LNB]Carragher said: 'We've had big, tall lads, people like (Emile) Heskey or (Peter) Crouch, who have done very well for us. But Carroll has that aggression that makes defenders fear him.[LNB]'As a defender you know when you go into certain games against particular players that you're going to have a hard day. 'I know few people will relish playing against Andy. [LNB]'You wake up in the morning and think, "Oh God! I don't want to play against him."[LNB] 'Everyone who has faced him probably thinks "I don't need this today".'[LNB] History boys: Dalglish to get teenage kicks in Prague with starlet SterlingLiverpool skipper Gerrard set to miss Europa League clash through injuryWest Bromwich boss Hodgson still hurting over trauma of Liverpool exitCarroll in line to make his Liverpool debut against Man United next monthAll the latest Liverpool news, features and opinion [LNB]  Explore more:People: Kenny Dalglish, Jamie Carragher, Roy Hodgson, Andy Carroll Places: Newcastle, Liverpool
