Jack Rodwell takes positives from Liverpool match
Jack Rodwell believes Manchester City have nothing to worry about despite nearly losing to Liverpool at Anfield on Sunday. City twice came from behind to earn a point but were gifted their late equaliser by a poor backpass from Martin Skrtel which fell to the lethal Carlos Tevez.'It showed great character to come back from being behind twice and Carlos scored a great goal,' said Rodwell. Incident: Jack Rodwell was penalised for handball 'We have to keep grinding these points out away from home, especially at places like Anfield and we’ll just take away the positives from today.'He came on as a second-half substitute and conceded the free-kick which Luis Suarez converted to put Liverpool 2-1 up.'It was difficult to adapt to the new system but I think the lads did well,' said the central midfielder.'In the first 30 minutes we dominated the game and we got back into it in the second half, so we have to take the positives from that.'When the 21-year-old was asked if he had handled the ball when the referee penalised him for Suarez's free-kick, he said: 'I’m not sure, I just slid in and I know it hit my chest but I’ll have to watch the video.'
