Liverpool's out-of-favour goalkeeper Charles Itandje has rejected an offer from Galatasaray as he hopes to secure a return to France with Paris St Germain.
The 26-year-old former Racing Club Lens stopper made just seven appearances for the Reds last term and looks to have been pushed further down the pecking order at Anfield by the recent arrival of Diego Cavalieri.
However, Itandje claims to have rejected an offer from Turkish giants Gala, who have now snapped up Italy keeper Morgan De Sanctis from Sevilla.
He told France Football: "I refused to join Galatasaray, even if I was very close to leaving, because the Champions League challenge was appealing.
"We reached a very advanced stage during the talks, but I have other interest in England. Three Premier League clubs are attracted.
"I explained to coach Rafa Benitez that I wanted to leave to get more first-team opportunities.
"So the club has prepared my departure and we will see what will happens in August."
