Is Suarez staying? Liverpool superstar pictured in classy new kit promotion
Well after the club launched their new home kit for next season the signs point to just that, as the Uruguayan featured heavily.
The big dogs in European football are expected to be sniffing around the Uruguayan (the likes of Barcelona, Bayern Munich and Atletico Madrid) but the Reds appear keen to hang onto the forward who single handily took the goal scoring burden on his shoulders for the first half of the campaign.
Liverpool unveiled their new strip for the 2013/14 campaign, with images that showcases Suarez alongside Steven Gerrard, Philippe Coutinho, Daniel Sturridge, Pepe Reina, Glen Johnson and Daniel Agger, the Reds have given the clearest indication yet that they will fight to keep their star.
The all-red strip features a white trim and is based on the iconic shirt of the 1983-84 seasons, which was worn during the European Cup final triumph in Rome.
Made using War-Tech, Warrior's signature apparel technology system, the shirt is highly-breathable, as well as moisture-wicking, keeping players dry.
Meanwhile, the four-way stretch mesh panelling under the arms and across the back allows airflow and ventilation, helping players stay comfortable in core heat areas of the body - something that is key for the players, according to Steven Gerrard.
Daniel Sturridge added: "It's important that you feel good in the shirt because you wear it a lot of the time, so if you're not comfortable in the strip you don't perform as well. It's very important for a new strip to feel comfortable." (1.)
Liverpool Manager Brendan Rodgers is a fan of the kits design, saying: "It’s distinctly Liverpool which the players and I love. It exceeds what we need it to do technically while also delivering a strong visual statement." (2.)
Warrior are now into the second year of their sponsorship deal with Liverpool, having paid £25m-a-year to take over from Adidas.
