Spanish giants Real Madrid have expressed an informal interest in the Liverpool man and are ready to step up their chase for him.
Madrid is looking to strengthen their front line by adding Suarez to the mix. However, a transfer bid in January is looking near impossible because of their lack of funds following Bale’s transfer.
Still, Goal.com has reported that Madrid plan on making Suarez their top target for the summer transfer, when the striker will have two years remaining on his contract at Liverpool.
Karim Benzema is the only senior center forward they have after selling Gonzalo Higuain during the summer. The Spanish giants are looking to reinforce that position by adding another senior player to that position.
Although Liverpool is not ready to let go of the Uruguayan forward, last summer Suarez spoke about making a move, specifically to Madrid. However, the Giants never made a formal bid.
The Uruguayan has been in top form after coming back from his 10-match ban and Liverpool management know that they will need him to try and secure a top league position.
