There were a few Reds on international duty last night. Dirk Kuyt scored a first half penalty for Holland as the Dutch beat USA 2-1 in Amsterdam. Ryan Babel was an 80th minute subsitute in this game. Yossi Benayoun was on the scoresheet for Israel as he hit the opener in their 2-0 away win over Romania. Steven Gerrard played 72 minutes of England's 3-1 Wembley win over Egypt while Javier Mascherano played the full 90 as Argentina earned a good 1-0 away win over Germany. Fernando Torres was a half-time subsitute for Spain in their 2-0 win over France in Paris. Pepe Reina was an unused subsitute. Sotirios Kyrgiakos played the full 90 minutes for Greece as they were beaten 2-0 by Senegal.
