There were mixed results for the Reds on international duty last night. Steven Gerrard scored twice as England came from behind to beat Hungary 2-1 at Wembley. Gerrard played 82 minutes while Glen Johnson played the full 90. Sotirios Kyrgriakos played for Greece as they beat Serbia 1-0 in Belgrade. Milan Jovanovic was in the Serbia side. Javier Mascherano captained Argentina to a 1-0 win over the Republic of Ireland in Dublin while Emiliano Insua was a second half subsitute. Daniel Agger was in the Denmark side that came from 2-0 down to draw 2-2 with Germany while Martin Skrtel helped Slovakia to a 1-1 draw with Croatia. David Ngog captained France under 21's in their European Under 21's Championsip qualifying game against Belgium but would have been disappointed with the 1-0 defeat. Peter Gulacsi and Krisztian Nemeth helped Hungary Under 21's to a 2-0 win over Bosnia and Herzegovina, also in a European Under 21's Championship qualifier.
