Injury update
Dirk Kuyt should be okay for Thursday. Kuyt was subsituted during yesterday's 4-0 win over Burnley with a sore calf but his subsitution was a precautionary one and he should be okay to face Athletico Madrid. "We have to see how he feels. He[Kuyt]'s working hard with the doctor and physios. It's a small problem in his calf but we have to wait," said Rafael Benitez. "Daniel Agger is fine. I changed him because I wanted to protect him."
