Injury ends Ayala loan
Daniel Ayala is back at Melwood after picking up an injury. The centre-back was enjoying a successful loan spell with Hull where he made 12 first team appearances and scored one goal. Ayala's loan spell was due to end on January 1st but Hull were trying to extend that to the end of the season. However, the injury he picked up on Boxing Day has seen the Spaniard return to Melwood to be assessed by Liverpool's medical team.
