I'm no Reds hero yet - Suarez

Liverpool striker Luis Suarez has already become a crowd favourite since his January arrival but accepts he has a long way to go to cement his place in the club's long and decorated history. The Uruguay international has scored two goals in five Barclays Premier League matches and was instrumental in the 3-1 victory over Manchester United at Anfield earlier this month. Suarez has provided a breath of fresh air following the moody antics of Fernando Torres prior to his £50million move to Chelsea. The 24-year-old has been an instant hit with fans starved of excitement this season but accepts he still has plenty to do before he will be happy with the adulation he is receiving. "I've only been here just over a month and a half and it's good to see the fans are happy," he told LFC Weekly. "I came here to work hard for the team and to do my absolute best. "I think the fans at this club play a major role - bigger than at some other clubs. But there are a lot of games and there is a lot of time to go before I am a real hero. It's too early for that."
