Fraizer Campbell will draw upon his Manchester United roots as he attempts to deepen Liverpool's misery tomorrow.   [LNB]The 22-year-old Sunderland striker grew up in the game at Old Trafford, and although he played only a handful of senior games for the club after emerging from the Red Devils' Academy, he is well versed in the long-standing rivalry between the two clubs.  [LNB] This weekend, the Huddersfield-born player will step out at Anfield determined to complete a famous double which would be almost as well received in the red half of Manchester as it would be back in the north-east. [LNB] Old Trafford old boy: Fraizer Campbell (below), who scored against Aston Villa earlier this week (above), learned his trade at the Manchester United academy [LNB] Campbell said: 'I have got a lot of Manchester United fans in my family, so they would be more than happy with that. These are the type of games that, when you are a youngster, you think, 'I would love to play at Anfield'.   [LNB]'Every time I have played against Liverpool, there has always been a bit of bite. It will be good to go to Anfield and hopefully come away with a result and more points.   [LNB]'We beat them earlier in the season at home, so I don't see why we can't do it now.'[LNB]The Reds are currently languishing, by their own high standards, in sixth place in the Barclays Premier League table, four points adrift of the top four having played a game more than Tottenham, the current holders of the final Champions League berth.   [LNB]Manager Rafael Benitez has found his future a constant topic for debate amid speculation over the continued presence on Merseyside of Steven Gerrard and Fernando Torres.   [LNB]Sunderland inflicted an early wound on their season back in October when they secured a famous victory with an outrageous stroke of fortune.   [LNB]Anfield anguish: Steven Gerrard and co have endured a disappointing season for Rafa Benitez's Liverpool[LNB]Keeper Pepe Reina looked to have Darren Bent's shot covered when it took a huge deflection off a beachball which had been thrown on to the pitch from the visiting spectators behind the goal and ended up in the net.   [LNB]Liverpool were justifiably aggrieved, but ironically, it wasSunderland whose luck switched direction thereafter. Of the next 18league games they played, they won only one - and that against Arsenal- and collected just 17 points from a possible 54. [LNB]Steve Bruce's men eventually tasted victory for the first time inmore than three months when they beat Bolton 4-0 on March 9, and arecurrently in the midst of a much-improved run which has seen them loseonly once in their last nine outings.[LNB] They moved 11 points clear of the drop zone as a result ofWednesday night's 1-1 draw at Aston Villa with Campbell on thescoresheet for the third time in four games.  [LNB] The youngster, who cost the Black Cats an initial 3.5million during the summer, has played much of his recent football as a makeshift right-winger, but has rediscovered his touch in front of goal.   [LNB]He said: 'It just comes with goals and playing well, and having a run of games as well. It's just confidence in general, really, playing football and enjoying myself.'[LNB] Bad memories: Pepe Reina is beaten by Darren Bent's shot after it deflected off a beach ball (right) in Liverpool's defeat to Sunderland earlier this season[LNB] A continuation of his recent record at Anfield would further enhance Campbell's growing reputation, although he admits he does not know what he will do if he does find the back of the net.   [LNB]He said: 'It would mean loads to me. I don't know what I would do - I might pass out.'[LNB] Campbell's fellow striker Kenwyne Jones could return to the side after missing the last two games with a hip flexor injury. However, defender John Mensah is a doubt with a hamstring injury picked up during Wednesday night's draw at Villa Park.
