Ian Rush: It’s crunch time in Liverpool’s bid to kick-start season

THESE are tough times at Anfield but it's vital we remain positive and get behind Rafa Benitez and his players during a crucial week.[LNB]After a run of just one win in 10 games it's easy to criticise, but the manager needs our support now more than ever.[LNB]Liverpool Football Club is famous for its loyalty. Our fans don't slag off the boss and they are there for the players when they are most needed.[LNB]It's a waste of time to be speculating about Benitez. The time to make an assessment is at the end of the season.[LNB]In May you have to ask whether we have made progress over the course of the season? Have we won a trophy? Have we finished in the top four?[LNB]If the answer is no then you have to look around and decide whether someone else could do any better.[LNB]I still believe Benitez will turn things around but there's no question the next five days are absolutely massive with two 'must-win' games.[LNB]First up, it's Debrecen in the Champions League tonight and no team talk should be needed.
