Hyypia happy to wait

Liverpool defender Sami Hyypia is determined to regain his place in the starting line-up and has no intention of leaving Anfield in search of regular first-team football.
The 33-year-old Finland international is no longer a regular in the Reds team, with Daniel Agger being preferred in the centre of defence by Rafa Benitez at times this season.
However, Hyypia is happy with the current situation and understands why Benitez is an advocate of the rotation system.
"Competition for places is good and, when I get my chance, I try my best to make it difficult for the manager to decide who he plays," said the defender.
"I appreciate every game I play for Liverpool, and no player is ever going to like being on the bench.
"Daniel Agger has played very well and Jamie Carragher is one of our most important players, so it's a healthy competition.
"Our recent form is very frustrating, and it hurts me personally too because I've played in the games against Everton away and Bolton in which we've lost."
