Hunt: England not an option

Werder Bremen striker Aaron Hunt has ruled out pledging his international allegiance to England, insisting that he wants to play for Germany. The 23-year-old has an English mother, but says that he would not be tempted to try his hand with England. He stated: "I grew up in Germany and learned to play football here. "I would of course be flattered by any interest from England, but I have not heard anything about it and it wouldn't even be an issue for me. "I only want to play for Germany and am not going to be tempted to change my mind either. "I have already said a few times that I want to play for Germany." Hunt has already played at Under-21s level for Germany and is being hotly tipped to break into the senior squad in the near future.
