Hicks cracks up

Tom Hicks cracked up live on Sky Sports News last night and it was hilarious to watch. Sat behind his £50m drawing of the new Anfield stadium Hicks ranted and raved about a conspiracy and an 'epic swindle' last night. The fat-headed Texan blamed creditors RBS, chairman Martin Broughton, board members Christian Purslow, Ian Ayre and Phillip Nash, the 'British establishment' (presumably he means the government for their shares in RBS and the High Court) and Liverpool fans, who he referred to as 'cyber terrorists' for his downfall. "We did have the funds available to pay off RBS in its entirety," claimed Hicks, who brilliantly was close to tears. "Between RBS, the chairman, and employees that conspired against us we were not allowed to pay off our debt. "This was an organised conspiracy that went on for many months. "We were paying them very high compensation and they conspired against us. "They were people I thought were friends. I thought were loyal. I was wrong." Hicks also had a rant about Martin Broughton, suggesting his support of Chelsea meant he wasn't acting in Liverpool's best interests. "He's a Chelsea fan not a Liverpool fan," Hicks told SSN, as if this was groundbreaking news. "He wanted to be the guy who got rid of the Americans. "So he's sold it to another group of Americans." Hicks also claimed he had new owners lined up who would be similar in wealth to Man City's owners but Liverpool fans had scared them off with Kop Faithful's e-mail campaign having them running for the hills. Unsuprisingly these mystery owners were never introduced to Broughton or the board.
