Henry eyes Champions League spot

iverpool owner John W Henry has confirmed the club's main aim this season is to finish in the top four and qualify for the Champions League.[LNB] The Reds have not qualified for the Champions League since 2009, when they finished as runners-up to Manchester United.[LNB]Now under the control of Henry's Fenway Sports Group, the club have brought Kenny Dalglish back as manager and have splashed out huge amounts in the last six months.[LNB]Luis Suarez, Andy Carroll, Stewart Downing, Charlie Adam and Jordan Henderson have all arrived and Henry is expecting a top-four finish.[LNB]Henry, who was speaking in Norway ahead of Liverpool's friendly with Valerenga, admitted the league title was probably not within their sights.[LNB]"It's too early for us to start talking about winning the league," said Henry to Dagbladet.[LNB]"In my opinion Manchester United are the ones to beat. They have a good squad, and look really good.[LNB]"Our main goal is to qualify for the Champions League. If we don't it would be a major disappointment."
