HATCHET MAN: With Spurs going right back to square one, Johnson can boot Chimbonda, Corluka and Hutt

Glen Johnson should be happier than ever at his prospects this summer. Liverpool and, it seems, Tottenham are eager to sign him after a goodseason  for Portsmouth and the size of the clubs would normally be anattraction. But their records with right-backs should leave Johnson with reservations. Tottenham already have Alan Hutton, Vedran Corluka and Pascal Chimbondafor the slot and all three have been signed in the last 16 months. Chimbonda was only bought in January and Liverpool are not that muchbetter  with Rafael Benitez signing a few in his time and playing bothJamie Carragher  and Martin Skrtel there this season. Johnson would be a big improvement to what both clubs have got butshould worry  about taking up residency in these right backs'graveyards.
