Making a fist of it: Robbie Keane in a rare appearance for Liverpool. Redknapp admits he is a big admirer of the Republic of Ireland international, but has never considered making a move for Keane who only left Tottenham for£20m last summer. Redknapp said: 'Robbie Keane is a fantastic player in my opinion but he belongs to Liverpool. 'I wouldn't say I wouldn't like him at the football club, but he belongs to Liverpool so it is not an option. As a player and a person I have a lot of time for Robbie. I think he is fantastic.' On a busy day of transfer activity at White Hart Lane, Redknapp confirmed that new signing Carlo Cudicini will make an immediate debut against Stoke on Tuesday night. Cudicini arrived on a free transfer from Chelsea and will be thrown straight into the action as Heurelho Gomes has failed to recover from a groin injury. Pascal Chimbonda has also completed his move back to Tottenham from Sunderland, but signed after the deadline and will not be able to play on Tuesday night. Redknapp added: "We are well pleased to have Carlo and he brings great experience. Gomes is still carrying an injury and he can't kick a ball at the moment which is a big problem for a keeper. He will be a good addition for us.'   More...
