Harry Kewell 300[LNB]HARRY KEWELL'S agent has launched an astonishing attack on the British medical system and claimed the treatment he received in this country was responsible for his injury-prone reputation.[LNB]Bernie Mandic made the blistering accusations in Australia where Kewell, now at Galatasaray, is currently being treated for a groin problem.[LNB]Kewell joined Liverpool from Leeds in 2003 but managed just 93 league appearances in five years at Anfield.[LNB]Now his agent has blasted the treatment his client received in England while also claiming Rafa Benitez has made enquiries about where to get Reds players treated.[LNB]'He (Kewell) lost three-and-a-half years of his career at Liverpool because the guys over there in England had, quite literally, no idea what they were talking about,' said Mandic to the Sydney Morning Herald.[LNB]'You have to wonder what they're doing over there. Perhaps they're trying to protect their reputations, but they're certainly not trying to protect their players.[LNB]'I think it's a disgrace, as I think it was a disgrace the way Harry was treated.'[LNB]Mandic claims the medical care Kewell received in England was inferior to the treatment he now gets in Australia.[LNB]'The reason he gets treated out here (in Australia) now is because we have the best medical staff in the world,' continued Mandic.
