Govou - Pressure on Reds

Lyon striker Sidney Govou believes Liverpool will be feeling the pressure ahead of Tuesday night's UEFA Champions League clash. Rafa Benitez's men have suffered three successive defeats, with their Group E reverse against Fiorentina in Italy followed by Premier League setbacks away to Chelsea and Sunderland. The Reds return to home soil for the clash with the French side, but Govou insists that the visitors, who have won both of their opening matches, do not need to chase victory at Anfield. "It's not a test for us. It's just the continuation of the Champions League," France international Govou said. "But it's a massive game for them. It's more important as a game for them than it is for us. "Liverpool are below where they were expecting to be at the start of the season. "A draw would be a good result for us. "But Liverpool are the group favourites even if they haven't had the start to the season they wanted, and they need to rejoin the race for qualification."
