Glen Johnson lies injured at Villa Park 460[LNB]GLEN JOHNSON will be sidelined for at least a month as he recovers from a torn medial ligament.[LNB]The Liverpool right-back damaged his right knee in the closing stages of Tuesday night's dramatic 1-0 victory at Aston Villa.[LNB]The £18million signing was assessed by the club's medical team at Melwood yesterday and a scan revealed the extent of the problem.[LNB]Johnson will see a specialist today to determine the length of his rehabilitation but he is highly unlikely to be back in action before February.[LNB]The Reds will have to do without the 25-year-old for a host of key matches including Saturday's FA Cup tie at Reading as well as Premier League showdowns with Spurs, Stoke, Wolves and Bolton.[LNB]The loss of Johnson could also force manager Rafa Benitez to rethink his plans to sell Philipp Degen during the transfer window.[LNB]The injury-prone Swiss international has struggled to adapt to the demands of the Premier League since he arrived on a free transfer from Borussia Dortmund in the summer of 2008.
