Gerrard Will Be Back 'Sooner Rather Than Later'

Kenny Dalglish says that Steven Gerrard is recovering well, but won't be rushed back early.

The Liverpool skipper has been out with an ankle problem since the end of October.

"Steven is getting closer to coming back but we cannot put a date on it," said Dalglish. "There's been no setback. We have said all along that we are really positive about his recuperation. "Steven's progress has been excellent and he will be back sooner rather than later."
