Steven Gerrard has been included in the Liverpool squad for Wednesday's UEFA Champions League clash with Real Madrid.[LNB] The talismanic midfielder has been sidelined since limping out of the Reds' FA Cup defeat to Everton earlier this month with a hamstring injury.[LNB]It was suggested last week that he might return for the Premier League match with Manchester City on Sunday but Rafa Benitez decided he was not quite ready.[LNB]However, he took part in training on Monday morning to provide Liverpool with a timely boost after the 1-1 draw against City.[LNB]SpecialBenitez told the club's official website: "Steven will be in the squad. He was okay in training this morning.[LNB]"It was a special training session so we were not testing him 100 per cent, but he trained okay so we will see."[LNB]He is now poised to travel to Madrid with the rest of the Liverpool squad ahead of the eagerly anticipated match at the Bernabeu.[LNB]The Reds will be looking to take command of the last-16 tie, with the second leg to be staged at Anfield on 10th March.[LNB]
