Gerrard confident of Europa success

Steven Gerrard is confident that Liverpool can go all the way in the Europa League after a first leg 1-0 win over Urinea Urziceni. It was a tough game for the Reds, with few chances despite dominating possession at Anfield, but a late goal by David N'Gog gave the Reds a goal advantage to take to Romania next week. "Maybe you can look at our team and say we need to be a bit more clinical," said Gerrard. "Maybe we lacked 5-10% on the pace of the ball, but we were patient and eventually the breakthrough came. "But I think we'll get more from joy from these away from home because they're going to have to try to come out and beat us, and hopefully we can kill them off.We always knew it was going to be good. There's teams that have been knocked out of the Champions League, fantastic teams. "You've also got the likes of Valencia, Ajax, Juventus, top sides across Europe, so its going to be difficult to win the competition but we're confident we can go all the way."
