Leicester City have completed the permanent signing of midfielder Astrit Ajdarevic from Liverpool. Ajdarevic finished last season on loan with the Foxes, making five substitute appearances as the club clinched promotion from League One. He had been keen to secure a permanent deal at the Walkers Stadium after being impressed by Leicester boss Nigel Pearson. The Swedish youth international has now signed a one-year contract and becomes the club's sixth capture of the summer. Meanwhile, Foxes goalkeeper Carl Pentney has agreed a fresh six-month deal with the Championship new boys.
