Former Spurs boss Ramos gets Real secretive ahead of Liverpool meeting

Real Madrid coach Juande Ramos has ordered maximum security at the club's Valdebebas training ground for two behind-closed-doors preparation sessions before Wednesday's Champions League tie against Liverpool

.

Sunday's training session, after Saturday's 6-1 win over Real Betis, was open to the public and media for the first 15 minutes.

But the former Tottenham

manager has insisted Monday's and Tuesday's sessions will be held in private.

Taking no chances: Real coach Ramos

Sacked by Spurs four months Ramos is proving his English critics wrong. Ridiculed for his lack of English, man-management and tactics when Spurs showed him the door and brought in Harry Redknapp, the Spaniard's 10 La Liga games in charge of Real have brought nine wins.

Ramos has also made the Spanish media eat their words after they said his Real side sent people to sleep.

England manager Fabio Capello, sacked by Real two years ago after winning La Liga, was similarly criticised and said: 'Ramos is a good manager. He understood what Real needed which was to stop conceding goals. In every team the defensive base comes first.

'I hope the critics carry on sleeping all season because it will mean Real Madrid are winning.

'Those who criticise Capello's Real and Ramos's Real are old fashioned. Juande's doing a great job and Liverpool will find them difficult to break down.'
