Flying Finn Lauri Della Valle fires Liverpool FC into Liverpool Senior Cup final
FINNISH starlet Lauri Dalla Valle fired holders Liverpool into the final of the Liverpool Senior Cup yesterday.[LNB]The youngster scored an excellent opening goal from an acute angle at the Kirkby Academy - and David Amoo strike and an own goal sealed the Reds win.[LNB]With Everton facing Skelmersdale in the other semi-final, a Liverpool- Everton final is now a strong possibility.[LNB]Della Valle struck after 42 minutes from a move instigated by Damien Plessis. [LNB]His pass sent Alex Kacaniklic racing away down the left. [LNB]His cross found David Amoo whose strike was well saved by Joe Collister, but Dalla Valle was quickest to react.[LNB]Another major boost for the squad was the return of Spanish starlet Francisco Duran, making his first appearance since November 2008.
