Liverpool striker Florent Sinama-Pongolle has no intention of returning to Anfield when his loan spell with Recreativo Huelva ends.
The 22-year-old Frenchman has made an impressive start to life in Spain and has no desire to go back to Merseyside and struggle in the club's reserves.
"For me, it is clear," he told RMC. "I do not want to go back to Liverpool.
"In Spain, I have found the sort of game which relates well to me. Everything's going well for me here, the quality of life is great, the quality of football as well.
"The record number of goals for a player of Recreativo Huelva in La Liga is 10. I already have five, why not aim even higher?"
Sinama-Pongolle scored nine goals in 21 starts and 45 substitute appearances for the Reds and spent the second half of last season on loan at Blackburn Rovers, where he found the net only once in ten matches.
This term he has scored five goals in six starts and five appearances from the bench for Huelva.
