Flanagan gets Under-21s call-up

Jon Flanagan has been called up to the England Under-21 squad for the Euro 2013 qualifiers.

The Liverpool defender joins Jordan Henderson, Martin Kelly and Jonjo Shelvey in Stuart Pearce's 27-man party.

They take on Iceland in Rekjavik on Thursday 6th October (KO 7.45pm) before moving on to their fixture with Norway in Drammen on Monday 11th October (KO 6.00pm)
