Should Patrice Evra prepare himself for the famous Fergie hairdryer? The Manchester United star last night appeared to mimic Rafa Benitez's controversial 'game over' gesture that caused Sir Alex Ferguson's blood to boil earlier this season. Crossfire: Patrice Evra When Michael Carrick's late goal sealed a 2-1 victory over Wigan at the JJB Stadium, Evra celebrated by leaping into the air before crossing and uncrossing his arms. It was the same gesture pulled off by Benitez that so irked Ferguson earlier this season, prompting him to label his arch rival 'arrogant'. The Liverpool boss appeared to make the sign after Fernando Torres' goal in the 4-0 win over Blackburn at Anfield, enraging both Rovers boss Sam Allardyce and Ferguson. 'You can't forgive his contempt for Sam Allardyce,' said Ferguson. 'Did you see it? Did you see the gesture he made? You can't do that.' Benitez insisted his gesture was misinterpreted but how will Fergiereact when he sees his own player apparently pulling off the same trick? Evra's act came after Carrick's strike fired United to within just onepoint of landing their third successive Barclays Premier League crown.
