ShareSportsmail and EuroChampsChallenge have asked a string of European champions for their favourite memory in the history of the competition...[LNB][LNB]Magical moment: Lars Ricken had barely been on the field 30 seconds when he scored against Juventus[LNB]Lars RickenWinner with Borussia Dortmund in 1997 I was born in Dortmund and am a fan. I remember them playing against Roma in the quarter-finals when I was 16 (1993). I was in the stands for a European match and I knew that was the moment I said to myself, 'I'm going to be a professional footballer'. I've gone on to play with great players - I think I should tell you Paul Lambert was the best![LNB]Alex StepneyWinner with Manchester United in 1968Thegame I look back at is 1999. I was in the stadium, invited by the club as a past winner, and at 1-0 with a few minutes left you just wonder, but then we win  2-1. I can actually go way back to when it first started when Madrid won 7-3 - the likes of (Alfredo) Di Stefano - that was a great memory.[LNB]Frank de BoerWinner with Ajax in 1995Iwas there for AC Milan's 4-0 victory over Steaua Bucharest in Barcelona(in 1989). As a young boy to experience that and to see our Dutch legends - Rijkaard, Van Basten, Gullit - playing was unbelievable. When Iwon it in 1995, we were very young. Louis van Gaal had taken over in 1991 and after we won the UEFA Cup, we went on to win the Champions League with lots of players from our academy. That was special.[LNB]Hans van BreukelenWinner with PSV in 1988Iwas playing in the game that stands out for me. I remember Brazilian striker Romario scoring a fabulous hat-trick against Steaua Bucharest. It was one of my sweetest moments. It was an enormous game for the fans, the place erupted and every goal was more beautiful than the other.[LNB][LNB] Dutch delight: AC Milan won the Champions League in 1987 thanks largely to their trio of Holland internationals[LNB][LNB] [LNB][LNB]Alan KennedyWinner with Liverpool in 1981 and 1984I've loved every minute of football and I've always said I never really had 'a job'. I was in Istanbul in 2005 and that was the best game you will ever see: 3-0 down, nobody expects it, a lot of fans getting texts from people back home to say 'You won't make it, you're out of it', and Liverpool, with Stevie Gerrard to the fore, showed what they're all about.[LNB] Comeback kids: Liverpool produced the greatest comeback in Champions League final history when they beat AC Milan in 2005[LNB] The inspiration for the EuroChampsChallenge is Angus, a seven-year-old boy whose life has been a little less ordinary. He was born two weeks early, weighing a touch over six pounds, and with a condition called microtia; both Angus' hearing and speech have been affected and in his short life he has had to endure numerous appointments, examinations, tests and operations. The years ahead will be full of further challenges both in medical terms and as his self-awareness increases.[LNB]The Euro Champs Challenge hopes to raise ?100,000 for The Sick Kids Friends Foundation and Changing Faces.  [LNB]They have embarked on a 7,000 mile journey to all 20 cities fortunate enough to have been 'home' to the European Cup at some stage in the last 56 years. In total the team visit 16 countries, stopping in 10 of them to meet 21 'Medallion Men', men to have lifted old 'Big Ears', in just 14 days.[LNB]For more information visit: www.eurochampschallenge.com or to donate ?3 Text 'Champs' to 70003.
