Dirk Kuyt is confident Liverpool will turn their season around and believes victory over his former club Utrecht in Europe can all but guarantee a place in the next round. [LNB]Kuyt spent five years with the Dutch club before moving to Feyenoord and then on to Anfield and is relishing the chance to play against his old team in the Europa League - as long as the Reds  win.[LNB]'We want to get a result. If we beat Utrecht in Utrecht, it will be great because we would have six points in the group already and we would almost be in the next round, he said.[LNB] Turning point: Kuyt belives Liverpool's season can get on track at Utrecht[LNB]'We work every day with this team and know we have the quality. It's just a matter of time until we get results.'[LNB]'We want to improve as quickly as possible. Hopefully we can start with the Utrecht game and follow it up with three points against Blackpool. Then we could go away for the international games with a good feeling.'[LNB]'It means a lot to go back,' Kuyt told Liverpoolfc.tv. 'They are the club that gave me the opportunity to play professional football. I had five years there and really enjoyed it. I was really happy for the opportunity they gave me.[LNB] Prayer: Kuyt is looking forward to returning to his former club[LNB]Utrecht reached the group stages of the competition following the 4-0 rout of Celtic and Kuyt believes his former club have the quality to go far int he competition. [LNB]'I like to follow Dutch football and see how the Dutch teams are getting on, especially in Europe,' he said.[LNB]'When we qualified I saw they had a great result against Celtic and I said to some of my teammates that I would love to play there as it's always special to go back.[LNB]Captain's job: Gerrard scored in the hard-fought draw with Sunderland[LNB]'They have a team with lots of quality. They are a young team but can play really well on their day - especially at home. They have had some great results there, like beating Celtic 4-0. The result in their first group game against Napoli was decent too.[LNB]'They seem to make it very difficult for big teams. If you ask the Ajax players if they like going to Utrecht, then everyone would say 'no' because it's very difficult to get a good result there.[LNB]'For us it will be a great game to play in and I'm expecting the atmosphere to be very good.'[LNB]The Dutch forward made a goalscoring return to action following injury in the 2-2 draw with Sunderland at the weekend but admits that he is still suffering with the after effects.[LNB]'I still need a bit of time,' he added. 'An injury like this needs four to six weeks. I recovered very quickly but you also need a couple of games to get back into it.[LNB]'Obviously it was a great feeling to score again and help the team. Unfortunately we couldn't win the game but I'm sure if we keep working in the same way the results will come.[LNB] Reina warns Liverpool fans it could take six months to reverse declineSouthampton boss Adkins keen on Liverpool starlet EcclestonAttwell axed from Premier League for weekend after Anfield horror showLIVERPOOL FC
