England recall for Carra?
Jamie Carragher could go to the World Cup with England. Carragher retired from international football three years ago but Fabio Capello wants the Liverpool defender to change his mind and be part of his World Cup squad. There are serious fitness doubts over the likes of Rio Ferdinand, Ledley King, Wes Brown and Joleon Lescott. Carragher is wanted by Capello as cover, especially since his versatility means he can play all across the back four. Capello will name his 30 man pre-World Cup squad this Tuesday while the 23 who go to South Africa will be named on June 1st.
