Eight games in – but no margin of error for Liverpool FC

IT seems strange saying there is no margin for error when you are only eight games into a season but that is the situation now facing Liverpool.[LNB]Premier League action resumes today after a two-week break and the trip to Sunderland is one that can most definitely be described as problematic.[LNB]Steve Bruce has done a fantastic job and will be fancying his chances.[LNB]Sunderland have got some very good players and I like their front two of Darren Bent and Kenwyne Jones, while Andy Reid has responded to his problems with the Republic of Ireland in fine style.[LNB]But our need to get three points outweighs Sunderland's and we have put ourselves in a position where nothing other than a victory will do - that's what happens when you find yourself under pressure.[LNB]The task has been made more difficult by having to do without Steven Gerrard and Fernando Torres after they picked up injuries on international duty.[LNB]Thankfully, it's nothing serious and hopefully they will both be back for Tuesday night's Champions League clash with Lyon.
