ECHO Jury: Liverpool FC and Everton FC fans' letters

THE Champions League qualification door looks almost shut, but I am still not completely giving up hope, the fixtures Man City and Spurs have coming up are extremely tough and involve either each other or the current top three.[LNB]However, we must win our remaining games to stand any chance, Chelsea including, this still might not be enough though, but at least we will finish on a high.[LNB]The Benfica game may become much bigger than first anticipated if all the English teams get eliminated from the Champions League, nevertheless, we must progress to the Semi Finals, the fans need something to look forward to, something to plan for, what better than a trip to Hamburg next month![LNB]Four years without a trophy is something Houllier didn't endure, can Rafa really survive beyond this season?[LNB]PAUL O'LEARY, Allerton[LNB]AFTER seeing Liverpool's defence get pulled-over faster than a drink-driver on Sunday, at least sleepy-head Torres should be back for Benfica.[LNB]Although the Eagles made it difficult for us last week through having a man advantage and playing that complicated pass-and-move football we haven't understood since the days of Dalgleish, there was still enough power evident in our team to be able to swipe Benfica aside.[LNB]So long as Liverpool field an attacking team, with players like Aquilani, and perhaps even N'Gog, given a proper run-out to support our Rip Van Winkle number 9, then the semis should be in the bag.[LNB]What's far more unsettling at the moment is the quest for the holy grail, or fourth place, as it's more commonly known.[LNB]Whatever happens in Europe, the embarrassment of trying to nervously secure wins against teams like Fulham is really the issue that should be putting the Liverpool regime to bed this summer.[LNB]ANDY COLLINSON, Aigburth
