ROY HODGSON has warned Liverpool not to underestimate Wolves at Anfield tonight as Steven Gerrard prepares to make his first appearance for six weeks.[LNB]Mick McCarthy's side are bottom of the Premier League and have picked up just one point on their travels so far this season.[LNB]However, the Reds boss insists his players will need to be at their best to ensure they finish 2010 with a victory.[LNB]'They are bottom of the league but between position seven and eight and position 20 the points difference is not that great,' Hodgson said.[LNB] 'I don't really think you can clearly say at the moment 'these are the bottom teams'.[LNB]'This congestion in the league means we have to be very careful when playing games because you might be playing the bottom team but in three weeks they might be eighth.[LNB]'We know what they can do, we know they'll be scrapping for their lives. They have got a very educated and well disciplined system.[LNB]'But it's about Liverpool and what our players do. I've got great faith in the players and if we perform I'm sure we'll cause them problems.'[LNB]It will be the Reds' first league action since the defeat at Newcastle two and a half weeks ago.[LNB]The enforced break due to the freezing conditions has allowed Gerrard to completely recover from the hamstring injury he suffered on England duty in mid-November.
